Job Description:

collaborative culture.Position Details: Work in an incredible
district with wonderful support! This social worker will work with
PreK-8th grade students across two buildings in the Aurora
area.This is a full time position for the 2024-2025 school
year.Responsibilities:Provide school-based counseling services to
students.Conduct services in individual and/or group settings based
on student's needsCreate a safe and welcoming environment for
students to encourage social, emotional, and educational
growthDevelop methods of tracking the effectiveness of behavior
support plans through the analysis of behavioral data and makes
changes to the plan as necessaryParticipate in meetings and
maintain records of assessments and progress monitoringOrganize
classroom meetings, social skills groups, etc on identified areas
of concern for the studentsConnect students and families with
applicable community mental health organizationsOffer staff
development on issues related to social-emotional-environmental
factors that impact learningPromote student self-advocacy and
independence by encouraging each student to identify his/her needs
and preferencesCollaborate with families about the educational
planning for each studentOther duties as
assignedRequirements:Master's Degree in Social WorkApproval to work
in schools in COPrevious school social work experience is
